My name is Megan and I am twelve years old (almost thirteen). I have a very sensitive stomach and I can't have servile things. Burritos
Tonight for dinner we made burritos, I was so happy that I could eat something as yummy as burritos. Here is what we did. First we found a good taco seasoning recipe from the internet in it was,
* 2 tablespoons gluten free onion powder
* 2 teaspoons gluten free garlic powder (not salt)
* 1 tablespoon gluten free chili powder
* 1 tablespoon salt
* 1 and half teaspoons of dried red pepper
* 1 and a half teaspoons gluten free ground cumin
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
* 1 and a half teaspoons cornstarch
* 1 teaspoon sugar
Then we mixed 2 tablespoons of that in with about 1 pound of hamburger and 3 fourths cup of water. That made the hamburger. For the shell we found it on a website called Living Without they were called Gluten free flour tortillas here is a link to it Livingwithout.com. For the all purpose flour we used a recipe from a Living Without magazine we got, here is the recipe.
* 1 cup of white rice flour
* Half a cup of tapioca starch/flour
* Half a cup of corn starch or potato starch
That was all we did, on our burritos we put the beef, shredded lettuce, olives, and dairy free sour cream. Feel free to experiment and tell me how it was. Enjoy your almost everything free burritos and tell me how they were, Megan.
